Is Seattle Public Library accepting book donations?
The Seattle Public Library welcomes donations of books and other materials. The Library also accepts monetary contributions allocated for the purchase of Library materials.

Titles in the OverDrive catalog that your library doesn’t own are added to your results. To tell which titles aren’t part of the digital collection, look for a Not owned banner and Recommend link. Click or tap Recommend to recommend a title. If prompted, sign into your library.
How do I request a library book online?
Go to your library’s website (or library system) and look for a section called “Recommend a title” “Suggest a Title for Purchase” etc. It’s often in the Contact Us tab. If the ebook is available on Overdrive but the library doesn’t own it, you may be able to search on Overdrive and simply press the “Recommend” button.

Unfortunately you cannot request titles for the library to purchase in the LIbby App. There are two options. On the results page, select Recommend to library under the “Availability” filter. Titles the library doesn’t own are added to your results.
